  • While all three professions share similarities; such as assessing musculoskeletal problems, using hands-on techniques, and providing exercises to help reduce pain and improve movement, osteopathy has a unique philosophy.

Osteopathic philosophy revolves around understanding the body as one integrated unit, where the body, mind, and spirit work together. There is a relationship between structure and function, and osteopathy considers how the body’s systems work together and how movement and lifestyle factors can influence symptoms.

These principles form the foundation of osteopathic treatment and management, making the patient experience unique.
